The process, explained plainly.
Everything here is about how the plumbing works — scripts, repeats, delivery. For questions about your medicine itself, ask your prescriber or our pharmacist directly.
Your eScript
Finding your code.
The code in your prescriber’s SMS or email is your electronic prescription. Paste the code — or the whole link, whichever is easier — and a pharmacist takes it from there.
Common questions
Asked & answered.
What is an eScript, and where do I find mine?
When your prescriber writes an electronic prescription, you receive an SMS or email containing a code — sometimes shown as a link or QR square. That code IS your prescription. To send it to us, just paste the code or the whole link into our form. Nothing is used up by sending it: the script is only marked as dispensed when a pharmacist actually dispenses it.
I have a paper prescription. Can I still use Scriptwell?
Yes. We can start from a clear photo of your paper script, but by law the original document must reach the pharmacy before your medicine can be supplied. After you send the photo, we’ll confirm the postal address and walk you through it.
How do repeats work?
If your prescriber wrote repeats on your script, you don’t need a new prescription each time — the pharmacy keeps count and you’ll see how many repeats remain next to each script in your portal. When a script is on its last repeat or close to its expiry date, we flag it so you have time to see your prescriber about a renewal before it runs out.
How is my order delivered?
Orders are sent by tracked express post in plain packaging — nothing on the parcel says what’s inside or who sent it beyond what the postal service requires. You get the tracking number by SMS within 24–48 hours of dispensing and can follow the parcel the whole way. Local patients can choose pickup at the pharmacy instead.
What if my medicine needs to stay cold?
Some individually prepared medicines need refrigeration. Those travel in insulated packaging with ice packs, sent by express post and timed so they don’t sit in a depot over a weekend. The package includes any storage instructions from the pharmacist — if anything is unclear when it arrives, ask us.
Who sees my information?
The pharmacist and pharmacy staff involved in dispensing your prescription — that’s it. Your details are used to dispense and deliver your medicine and for the records pharmacies are required by law to keep. We don’t sell or share your information for marketing. Our privacy policy spells out the detail.
How fast is the whole process?
Your script is reviewed by a registered pharmacist within 1 business day — usually much faster. After you approve and pay, orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days. We text you at every step, so you’re never wondering where things are at.
Can I ask a pharmacist a question about my medicine?
Yes — a registered pharmacist is on hand for questions about your prescribed medicine, how to store it, and how the dispensing process works. Email armstrongcreek@twcmgroup.com or reply to any of our texts.
This page explains the dispensing process only. It isn’t medical advice, and it doesn’t discuss any particular medicine — those conversations belong with your prescriber and pharmacist.
